Hydraulic power tong, also known as power tongs, hydro-pneumatic tongs, due to the special requirements of drilling technology for tongs, power tongs can not completely replace ordinary tongs.
The hydraulic tongs are divided into two parts: the upper pliers and the lower pliers, the lower pliers only clamp the lower pipe body or joint, and the upper pliers can turn forward and reverse after clamping the upper pipe body or joint, which can replace the ordinary pliers and rope screwers to complete the wrenching and unloading operation, which is safe and reduces manual labor.
The hydraulic drive is used to fasten and loosen the pipe drilling tools on the oil drilling rig.
